Hello, my name is Cynthia. I live in Northern California, in a small town. I am starting this blog in hopes of sharing what I’ve learned and encouraging women to be creative in whatever space and stage of life they are in. As women, I am convinced that we are hardwired to be creative and nurturing. So, making space for creativity is important. Often, we feel compelled to stuff our creative energy into a drawer that will only be opened “when we have time…someday”.
But, I would like to encourage you to plan your schedule so that you can take even a few minutes for exploring a passion. Weather it’s painting, drawing, fiber art or gardening. I believe that no matter how full our day is with responsibilities, if we schedule even just 10 minutes for Exploring art of some form, we will be much better at serving others. I don’t adhere to the popular need of “ Me Time”, but I see it more as a need of creating a lovely home. Even a simple glass with cut flowers or some ablidging twigs arranged on your table makes life just a little more lovely.
I hope you will join me as we talk about creating something beautiful, just because. I will share what I have learned in the area of Fiber art. I would love to know what your challenges are or ways that you have made room for creative pursuits while managing your home? Or, how in different stages of life, what creativity has looked like for you?
Thank you for stopping by.
Until next time ~
