I created this hummingbird work of art with the idea that the muted blues and greens would bring a sense of calm to a quiet space in an office or home. I love watching the hummingbirds that come to my flower garden. They have become used to me being outside so much that they will come up close while I tend the garden.
Like painting with strokes of fabric, this one of a kind art work was created by meticulously adding tiny pieces of fabric to a canvas and stitched together creating depth and movement.
This piece measures 12 1/2” wide x 15” tall. It has a 4” sleeve for hanging.
