“Morning Visitor” 11" x 14"

This hummingbird is a frequent visitor to the water feature in my yard. She arrives every morning, just as the water starts bubbling from the solar powered fountain.

 I sat very still for hours, watching with my camera in hand to capture all the fluttering in the water last summer. 

Fabric and Thread, stretched on archival canvas.
