Things aren't always what they seem. After cutting down a Juniper Spire tree, I realized that a bird had made her nest in it as she was looking for her eggs that had fallen. After the bird had given up, I decided to place the nest in another tree and capture a picture to remember it. Watching the bird look for her eggs reminded me of a time that I had to go through something that felt unbearable. Ultimately, it caused me to hope in Christ when I thought all hope was lost.
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the LORD forever." -Psalm 23: 4-6
"Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful." -Hebrews 10:23
