Preparing for Sacramento Open Studios.

Lori Wallace of Good Day Sacramento stopped by recently for an interview with me, so I thought that I would share it with you here.   I’m honored that they came by and it was fun to share a bit of my work with Good Day viewers.     

After returning from another trip to the coast, I have begun a piece that I am excited about.  This was from a recent trip, that my husband and I took for the purpose of taking pictures for Art pieces. This one makes me smile, because he doesn’t particularly enjoy the beach. He goes because I love it. And I love him for that!   I was able to dye the sky fabric today and am happy with it so far. I’m making progress on the ocean scene that I’ve been working on. I trying to have it done within a week. I was able to get a lot of pictures taken on my trip to Carmel.  It was a little overcast, so I would like to go back when the sun is out. Some shadows make the textile art look better, so I’m going to say that another trip is necessary!   That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.  The next piece that I have on the table is a waterfall scene from Yosemite.  But, I’m a little torn...
