I’ve been working on an ocean scene this week. I couldn’t find just the right fabric for the sky, so I ombré dyed a piece myself. I wanted it to be darker near the top. It turned out just like the sky from the photograph that I’m working from, so I’m pretty happy about that.
I’ll be heading to Carmel soon to take pictures, and I just can’t wait! I’m hoping that it isn’t smoky there. It has been pretty bad in Sacramento. I have been planning on a trip to Carmel since January, but we had a storm come in, then Covid-19 happened.
Overall, I’m loving how this piece is turning out. I’m working on the water now and will post another picture soon.
